Nightmares and other unsettling moments

Last night the kid woke up screaming. Andrew and I sprinted up the stairs to find her sitting up and crying, tears rolling down her face. I picked her up as she said, “She shouldn’t do that!” After a few minutes of soothing, she settled back down to sleep. In the morning, she remembered nothing of it. She didn’t even recall she’d had a nightmare. We’ve written before that our kid experiences from some occasional bouts of sleepwalking.
